About 101 Bad Dreams

101 Bad Dreams is an art project by AMRC a.k.a. Andy Chambers which illustrates a surreal look into pointillism.

Andy went to school at Okanagan University College where he learned the fundamentals of art history, sculpture, drawing and painting. He also attended Alberta College of Art and Design where he expanded his skills in drawing and painting. Like a chump he didn't follow his dreams and he decided there was no money in fine arts and he decided to pursue Graphic Design. After attending Applied Multimedia training center in Calgary he started working and it's been downhill ever since. Andy has found a new passion in illustrating surreal dreamscapes by meticulously tapping dots onto paper. These nightmarish images can take a painstaking 80 to 160 hours to complete.

Currently Andy does marketing, graphic design and website work and has been doing graphic design for over 20 years. He has worked in many industries such as: Casino Software, Tradeshow Design, Ski Resort Marketing and Call Center Management.

Traveling and visiting world reknowned museums have inspired Andy to pursue art. Specifically seeing the Nightswatch in Rjiksmeasuem, the Louvre, Caravaggio's works in Malta's Museum of Fine Art and a myriad of pieces in Casa Rocca Piccola. Seeing Picasso's Guernica, Dali's, Magrettes and more is like collecting playing cards and checking them off a life list. Collect them all before you run out of time!
